Invitations have been extended for the position of Anganwadi Helper across the districts of Kushinagar, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur, Kanpur Nagar, and Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh. The last dates are different because each district started applications at different times. Women candidates will be selected for the posts of Anganwadi Helper in Rural & Urban areas of these districts. Direct recruitment shall be made to this appointment. There will be no written character test. There will be no written test and merit list will be prepared on basis of academic marks.
Eligibility Criteria to Become an Anganwadi Worker
Gender: Only Female Candidates are eligible to apply for the Anganwadi Helper post.
Educational Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (12th pass) or equivalent qualification from recognized education board. Candidates having higher education (up to Postgraduate) can also apply. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the highest qualification up to a post-graduate level.
Domicile: The candidate must be a permanent resident of the ward or Gram Sabha from which she is applying.
Certificates for urban areas: In case of urban areas, the online residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsil with digital signature will be considered valid.
Age Limit: The applicant must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years of age. Eligibility will be based on age as of July 1, 2026.
