Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana 2026: Free Coaching Initiative for Aspirants

The Uttarakhand government has announced a big new plan to level the playing field for students preparing for competitive exams. In September 2026, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami formally launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana, a major investment in the state’s human capital.

What the Scheme Provides

The initiative, fundamentally, offers free online coaching and quality study material to eligible students across Uttarakhand. The program is designed to remove the financial barriers that often prevent talented youth from accessing professional coaching services.

Under the first phase of the scheme, 11,000 students will benefit, spread across various exam categories:

Exam Category No. of Students UPSC & State Public Service Commission 2000
SSC, Railroads, Banking & Equivalent 5,000
Defense Services 2000 NET, GATE, CSIR, JRF 1000
Management Entrance ( CAT, MAT ) 1,000

Who Can Apply

The scheme will be applicable for the students of state universities, government colleges and government-aided colleges of Uttarakhand . The program is also open to those preparing for higher education and eligibility examinations like CAT, MAT, GATE, NET and CSIR-NET.

A Lifeline for the Hills

One of the more exciting aspects of this effort is its capacity to reach students in remote and hilly parts of the state. Earlier, students from these areas had to move to cities like Dehradun or Delhi for good coaching, which was beyond the means of many families. Online coaching greatly reduces this geographic and economic barrier from the comfort of your own home .

The vision of the Government

CM Dhami, while addressing at the launch said the scheme is not merely a government program. “It is a powerful medium to turn the dreams of youth into reality and opportunities into success,” he said. The Chief Minister also said that the state is not only focused on government jobs but also on promoting self-employment, startups, skill development and entrepreneurship.

The government has assured that “neither lack of resources nor economic conditions will be obstacles” for talented youth to achieve their goals .
