Rajasthan Safai Karmchari Naukri: The Rajasthan Government has issued a notification for direct recruitment to the post of Safai Karmchari (Contractual Safai Karmchari). According to the notification issued, a total of 24,752 posts are to be filled. This recruitment will be conducted for urban local bodies across the state.
As per the official notification, a total of 24,752 posts are available under the ‘Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022’ and related provisions. Eligible candidates can apply online. The application process will start on August 15, 2026, and will continue until September 28, 2026. Applicants can apply for only one body out of the 183 municipal bodies.

Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the SSO/Online portal.

While applying, candidates will have to pay the One-Time Registration (OTR) fee on the SSO portal. The fee for General/Unreserved category candidates is ₹600. The fee for Reserved category candidates is ₹400, and for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), it is also ₹400. The age limit for applicants should be 21 to 40 years. Age relaxation will be given under the category as per government rules.
How Will the Selection Be Done?
The selection of candidates will be done through the Urban Body Lottery System. First, eligible candidates with one year of experience from the same municipal body will be included. Those who are selected will be given a salary of ₹7,410 per month.
