The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur has published the Round 1 seat allotment result of the Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 state quota counseling. Candidates who have been allotted seats in government and private medical and dental colleges have been asked to report at the earliest as the last date for reporting is September 3, 2026 strictly. If you don’t do it within that window of opportunity then you lose the seat that was given to you. No possibility to claim the seat later.
The counseling process started from August 18, 2026, with the release of the Chhattisgarh state merit list and 9,195 candidates registered and locked their choices on the official portal. Round 1 seat allotment was prepared and released on 26th August 2026 based on this merit list and preferences filled by candidates.

The provisional allotment letter is an important document and can only be downloaded from the official DME counseling portal.
Candidates need to get it by following the following steps:

Find Allotment Link – Click on “Round 1 Seat Allotment” link on homepage.
Login: Fill in your roll number, date of birth and security pin generated at the time of registration.
Download and Watch The allotment letter will be shown on the screen. Download a fresh copy of
Printout Required: Take the clear printout of this letter as the college will ask for the physical copy of this letter during reporting.
College Reporting: Important Checklist
Reporting and admission formalities have to be done at the allotted college itself and not at a central counseling counter. Candidates are advised to prepare two complete sets of documents (original and photocopy) in advance.

The September 3 deadline
Reporting must be within a strict, non-negotiable time frame. The allotted seat shall be treated as vacated and will be released back in the pool for subsequent rounds of counseling, if the candidate fails to report and complete all admission formalities on or before 03rd September 2026. After this deadline, there is no provision to claim the same Round 1 seat.
