Group-3 Combined Direct Recruitment Examination-2026 (Second) for the posts of Mineral Surveyor, Surveyor, Laboratory Technician, Cartographer, Sub Engineer, Junior Director, Technical Assistant and Campus Supervisor. Total number of vacancies is 1700. Out of these, there are 628 posts for General, 146 for EWS, 426 for OBC and 254 for ST candidates.

Direct recruitment will be made in various offices and departments including Directorate of Geology and Mining, Madhya Pradesh, Arera Hills, Bhopal, Office of the Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Seoni, Office of the Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Balaghat, Indore Development Authority and Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited, Bhopal.

MP Government Recruitment Qualification

In this recruitment of Madhya Pradesh different qualifications have been fixed for each post.

Mineral Surveyor: Minimum Diploma in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

For Surveyor : Should have ITI Certificate in Surveying or Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized institution.

For Lab Technician: Diploma in the concerned Engineering Branch from a recognized University/Board with at least first class.

For Cartographer: First class Diploma in Engineering in the related field or equivalent Diploma.

For Laboratory Technician (Post): Pass in Diploma in relevant Engineering branch from recognized University / Board.

What age limit should it be?

The age of the candidate will be calculated on 01.01.2026 for this recruitment.

For direct recruitment by open competition: The age limit is 18-40 years.

State domicile SC/ST/OBC/Government Corporation/Board employees, autonomous body employees, municipal employees, Persons with Disabilities and WomenAge limit 18-45 years

Candidates also must have an active registration in Employment Office of Madhya Pradesh, says the notification. Further, the certificates required for reservation and age relaxation shall be issued from the competent authority recognized by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Application Fee Amount

Application Fee: For Unreserved category candidates – Rs.500.

For SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Persons with Disabilities candidates of MP domicile: Form fee is ₹250.

Backlog: No fee for direct recruitment only.

Portal Fee: In case the form is filled by logging in through a Registered Citizen User, an additional ₹20/- will be charged as Portal Fee.

October Test
The written test for this recruitment will start on Wednesday, 7 October.

First Shift: Reporting time will be 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Afternoon Shift: Reporting time is 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

Candidates must register their Aadhaar number while applying. Candidates should carry an original photo bearing identification document to the examination center. This can be any of the following Voter ID card, PAN card, Aadhaar card, Driving License or Passport.
